While not exactly hot on the heels of ‘Papillon,’ Coolbaugh’s selection was so

intense as to provoke a change of rules in the Movienight By-Laws. This marks

the first appearance of an Oliver Stone film, and an interesting counterpoint to

Judge Reinhold’s self-abuse in ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High.’
