‘Sexy Beast’ was a very lucky Pick for the Crew.

With this Selection, Nubs breaks the curse that has been the bane of our

existence since April 11th. It was on that fateful night when Nubby became

the kiss of death for every home Movienight tried to establish since we lost

our first Back Yard.

First he killed the Pool Deck at the Wiener’s new home with ‘Close

Encounters of the Third Kind,’ then he killed the new venue at the Wiener’s

with the deafening presentation of ‘Children of Men.’ With ‘Sexy Beast,’ it

seems his final kiss of death was saved for the bleakest of Movienight’s

venues, Tooda’s Crib, with our final Indoor Presentation being Nubby’s ‘Hustle & Flow.’

It seems the curse is broken, and Movienight has settled into a very comfortable routine in the New Back Yard provided by Nubs and his welcoming family.

The great Ben Kingsley debuts with this Selection, as does Ray Winstone and Ian McShane.
