This richly filmed, movingly performed, and delicately scripted masterpiece

left many in the Crew scratching their heads wondering how exactly this film served to celebrate Movienight’s landmark night.

With ‘Cría,’ Netti reached a landmark all his own - of the 9 films Netti has selected for the Crew, 4 of them have been foreign language films.

In the end, the film held the Crew’s attention for its brief run time, but it didn’t really have the hallmarks of a Slam Dunk - which for the past two years, and for the foreseeable future - is what Movienight is all about.
